Wiltshire Health and Care celebrates Volunteers’ Week 2023

2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June).  We will be celebrating our volunteers along with thousands of other organisations, charities and the voluntary sector.

We are delighted to welcome back our 150 volunteers since the COVID restrictions were lifted and want to thank them all for their hard work, dedication and contribution in helping our patients and staff.

Wiltshire Health and Care Volunteer Co-ordinator, Suzanne Bennett says, “I thoroughly enjoy working with volunteers.  Volunteers' Week provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate and recognise them.  Volunteering can help in gaining new skills and experience as well as giving a confidence boost.  Helping others has been shown to improve volunteers' wellbeing too!”
