NHS70 celebrations: Our own radio show
On Thursday 5th July 2018 the day the NHS celebrates its 70th birthday, BBC Wiltshire Radio will be broadcasting live from Longleat Ward at Warminster Community Hospital from 2 – 4 pm.
James Thomas will present the afternoon show from our ward; discussing the role of community hospitals in Wiltshire, discovering the big difference that our volunteers make and find out what it’s like to spend time on the ward.
Ward Manager/Senior Sister Anne-Marie Nuth and her team have lined up lots of people to come along and chat including; a registered nurse, health care assistant, student nurses, volunteers and previous patients. There will also be a number of activities going on, a tea party and some live music.
