TV kindly donated by Friends of Warminster Hospital
The Friends of Warminster Hospital have recently donated a 50 inch television for patients to enjoy in the day room on Longleat Ward.
The old television stopped working just before Christmas and patients were worried they’d miss their favourite festive programmes. However, they were utterly delighted when the new television arrived and thought the bigger screen was fantastic.
Activities Coordinator Charlotte Aldridge said: “Being in hospital over the festive period is always difficult, but being able to enjoy the Queen’s speech and other festive TV programmes brought some light relief to our patients and their families. We are very grateful to the Friends for providing a new television and for the quick delivery.”
