A time to say thank you

It’s Volunteers’ Week so we’re taking the time to thank our amazing team of volunteers across Wiltshire Health and Care for all that they do to support our staff, patients and visitors.

Our volunteers have played a key part in our response to the pandemic. They have adapted their voluntary roles to help keep us all safe – stepping up and helping to man the main hospital entrances ensuring PPE requirements are followed and helping the PPE team with stock control and distribution across our sites.

So on June 5th, let’s raise a glass to all our volunteers!

A volunteer’s experience with Wiltshire Health and Care is a happy and productive partnership. Our volunteers tell us they want to make a difference, meet new people, give something back, maybe to learn new skills, or even try out a new career. Comprehensive training is provided to help keep our volunteers safe and give them the necessary skills to feel confident supporting patients and staff.

If you would like to volunteer with us, or you know someone who would be interested in volunteering, please contact Suzanne Bennett, Voluntary Services Coordinator on 01985 220779 / 07810 836065 or email whc.volunteers@nhs.net.
