WHC Chair’s term of office has ended

Carol Bode has recently stepped down as Chair of Wiltshire Health and Care as her term of office came to an end.

Carol was appointed Chair at the inception of Wiltshire Health and Care in July 2016 and has been committed to the success of the organisation ever since.

Carol Bode said: “I am really pleased with the progress made by Wiltshire Health and Care and incredibly proud of our hard working staff and volunteers. I believe the time is right to hand over to a new Chair and I wish them and the organisation well for the future.”

Managing Director Douglas Blair said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carol for her invaluable support and encouragement over the last three and a half years. Carol has other non-executive responsibilities in the housing sector which are growing in scale and time commitment and I wish her all the best with these.”

Non-Executive Board member Richard Barritt has stepped in as interim Chair, whilst continuing his patient voice representative role. A substantive Chair for WHC will be formally announced in 2020 following an appointment process.
