Wiltshire Health and Care provides services from five community hospital sites and Devizes Health Centre.
Three of these hospitals have inpatient wards: Chippenham, Warminster and Savernake. There are Minor Injury Units at the Chippenham and Trowbridge hospital sites.
Parking
Each of the community hospital sites has a car parking monitoring system. You need to register your vehicle to avoid receiving a fine. The sites are:
- Chippenham Hospital
- Melksham Hospital
- Savernake Hospital
- Trowbridge Hospital
- Warminster Hospital
There are two different ways in which you can register your vehicle:
- Each site has a parking tablet at reception and you can enter your car registration on to the tablet. This will register your vehicle for a single visit.
- If you regularly visit one or more of the above sites you can ask your vehicle to be permanently registered by sending an email to gwh.wilts.parkingpermits@nhs.net including the following details:
- Your car registration number
- Your name
- The site(s) which you wish to be registered at
Your car will then remain registered until you send another email changing the detail. If you use a different car to the one which you have registered when you visit one of the sites you will need to enter the details on to the tablet manually.
You do not have to register your vehicle at Devizes Health Centre.
Visiting Guidelines – Our visiting guidelines are regularly reviewed and updated in line with government guidance and local policies. If you would like to visit one of our inpatient settings, please contact the ward to discuss. The ward manager or senior sister will consider the patient’s individual circumstances and make a best interest decision.
