What is the service and what does it offer?

The Community Orthotics service aims to provide functional devices (orthoses) that will aid rehabilitation or help to maintain or enhance a patient’s mobility and function by correcting, accommodating and maintaining good positioning of bones and joints.  We accept referrals for children and adults.  We have 5 clinical sites across West, North and East Wiltshire.

The service is provided by Dacey Orthotic Solution Ltd on behalf of, and managed by, Wiltshire Health and Care.

Ther service provides a wide range of braces and supports for all parts of the body including:

  • Orthopaedic and diabetic footwear
  • Leg and ankle braces
  • Knee braces
  • Shoulder/wrist/arm supports
  • Head/neck supports and protective helmets
  • Spinal supports
