What is the service and what does it offer?

Lymphoedema is a condition which causes oedema (swelling) and can affect any part of the body.  It can be primary - you are born with it - or secondary which has various causes.

Our lymphoedema service is led by lymphoedema specialist nurses and treats patients with non-palliative caused lymphoedema, who are registered with a GP practice in the north and west of Wiltshire.  The service can be accessed by completion of a referral form by a health care professional.

We work with our patients and often involve other health care professionals, to help them manage this lifelong condition.

Our clinics are held in Chippenham, Trowbridge and Warminster Community Hospitals.  We offer a domiciliary service to housebound patients.
