Music therapy strikes a chord

Talented volunteers Edwina Astel and Karen Smith provided musical therapy on Ailesbury and Chestnut Units at Savernake Community Hospital in Marlborough recently.

Music Therapy is safe and accessible and can have a positive effect both physically and mentally to the health and well-being of our patients and staff.

Quality Improvement/Service Development Lead Nurse  Anne-Marie Nuth said: “A huge thank you to our volunteers who recognise the value and effect music can bring and who are kind enough to deliver this in their own time for the benefit of others.”
