How you can get involved

We want the voices of our patients, carers and local community to be continuously heard across all areas of our organisation.

We know that we can improve the services that we deliver and how we function as an organisation by listening to other people and learning from their knowledge and experience.

Our Patient & Public Involvement Plan 2018-2021 sets out how we will involve patients, their families, carers, volunteers, staff and the wider community in the delivery of our services.

We would like your feed back on our 2019/20 Quality Priorities set out below.

Voluntary Services

We have a Wiltshire wide team of committed volunteers who dedicate their free time for the benefit of our patients and staff. Their roles include assisting ward patients at mealtimes; patient befriending, supporting ward activities, escorting patients to acute hospital appointments, administration and gardening.

Training is provided to help keep our volunteers safe and give them the necessary skills to feel confident supporting patients and staff.

A volunteer’s experience with Wiltshire Health and Care is a happy and productive partnership. If you can offer 2-3 hours a week and would like to free up staff time and support our patients to have a comfortable stay in one of our community hospitals, please contact:
