Get Carter: Karen to appear on BBC Wiltshire Radio
BBC Wiltshire Radio is airing a series about ‘A day in the life’ of a community nurse starring Wiltshire Health and Care’s Karen Carter from Warminster Community Team. The series will be aired on the Morning Show on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th February 2018 at 10:10am
The Morning Show presenter Marie Lennon, spent a day with Karen, getting a glimpse into her everyday working life by accompanying her on visits to patients and getting a real understanding of the challenges and rewards of being a community nurse in rural Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Health and Care’s Communications and Engagement Lead, Emma Bye said: “We are working hard to build positive relationships with the local press and media. This was a great opportunity to raise our profile and let listeners know the great work that we are doing, whilst highlighting some of the challenges faced by our community nurses.”
